Terms of service

The agreement between you and the company that runs Helm, in plain English.

The short version
  • 01Your emails, files, memory and skills stay yours. We use them only to run Helm for you.
  • 02You set what each agent may do. Allowing a tool without approval lets your agent use it on its own.
  • 03No spam, no breaking the law, no getting around Helm's rules.
  • 04Monthly plans through Stripe. Cancel any time, keep access until the period ends.
  • 05Run by SenseWork AI LLC, under California law.
01

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and SenseWork AI LLC ("Helm", "we", "us"), the company that runs Helm at helm.mom and app.helm.mom.

By creating an account or using Helm, you accept these terms. If you use Helm for a company, you accept them for that company and confirm you may do so.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data and is part of these terms.

02

What Helm is

Helm connects AI clients you choose (Claude Code, claude.ai, Cursor and others) to accounts you connect, such as Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Outlook and GitHub. It applies the rules you set for each agent, asks for your approval when a rule says so, and keeps a memory and skills for your agents.

Helm does not run an AI model. The AI client you use, and its provider, decide what your agent asks Helm to do.

03

Your account

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Give us a real email address and keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • You are responsible for the AI clients you connect to Helm and for the rules you give your agents. When you allow a tool without approval, you allow your agent to use it on its own.
  • Tell us at hi@helm.mom if you think someone else is using your account.
04

Your content and connected accounts

Your emails, files, events, memory and skills stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and send them only as needed to run Helm for you, as the privacy policy describes.

You confirm you have the right to connect each account you connect, and that your use of it through Helm follows that service's own terms, such as Google's.

05

Acceptable use

Do not use Helm to:

  • send spam, or mail people who did not ask to hear from you;
  • break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
  • access accounts or data you are not allowed to access;
  • harass, defraud or harm anyone;
  • attack, overload, scan or reverse-engineer Helm, or get around its limits and rules;
  • resell Helm, or offer it to others as your own service, without our written permission.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts Helm, other users or connected services at risk. Where we can, we tell you first.

06

Trial, plans and billing

  • New accounts start with a free trial. When it ends, your agents stop calling tools until you choose a plan. Your data stays as it is.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, at the price shown when you subscribe. Prices exclude taxes where taxes apply.
  • Plans renew every month until you cancel. Cancel any time from the billing page in the app. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
  • If a payment fails, we give you 3 days to fix it before your agents stop calling tools.
  • We do not refund partial months, except where the law requires it.
  • If we change a price, we tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you.
07

Changes and availability

Helm is a young product and changes often. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you pay for, we tell you first.

We work to keep Helm running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. Services you connect may change or stop working with Helm, and that is outside our control.

08

Ending

You may stop using Helm and cancel at any time. We may end these terms or close your account with 30 days' notice by email, or right away if you seriously break them.

When your account is closed, we delete your data as the privacy policy describes. The sections on disclaimers, liability and disputes still apply.

09

Disclaimer

Helm is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement.

Your agents act on your instructions and on rules you set. We are not responsible for what an AI client decides to do, or for an email, file or event your agent creates, sends or changes within the permissions you gave it.

10

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Helm is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data.

Our total liability for any claim about Helm is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.

Some places do not allow these limits. Where they do not, they apply as far as the law allows.

11

Your responsibility to us

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you sent through Helm, or because you broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim.

12

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in California, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.

Before going to court, email hi@helm.mom and give us 30 days to try to solve it.

13

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We change the date at the top, and for important changes we email you at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using Helm after that, you accept the new terms.
